Application and Request for a Certificate of Authority

   Somerset Casualty Insurance Company has applied for a Certificate of Authority to Operate as a stock casualty insurance company in Pennsylvania. The initial filing was received on May 29, 1996, and was made under the requirements set forth under 40 P. S. §§ 961--971. Persons wishing to comment on the grounds of public or private interest to the issuance of the Department's order approving this Certificate of Authority are invited to submit a written statement to the Insurance Department within 15 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include the name, address and telephone number of the interested party, identification of the application to which the statement is addressed and a concise statement with sufficient detail to inform the Insurance Department of the exact basis of the statement.
