NOTICES

Harleysville Mutual Insurance Company; Huron Insurance Company; Homeowners Insurance Program

   On October 22, 1996, the Insurance Department received from Harleysville Mutual Insurance Company and Huron Insurance Company a filing for a rate level and rules change for homeowners insurance.

   The company requests an overall 10.0% increase amounting to $1,613,631 annually, to be effective December 15, 1996 for new business and effective January 15, 1997 for renewals.

   Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to December 21, 1996, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

   Copies of the filing will be available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions, or objections to Larry Polin, Insurance Department, Bureau of Regulation of Rates and Policies, Room 1311, Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
