   Doc. Nos.:  A-312025 F0002 and A-310236 F0004.  WorldCom, Inc. and MCI Communications Corporation. Joint Application, as amended, of WorldCom, Inc., MCI Communications Corporation, MCI Telecommunications Corporation and MCI Metro Access Transmission Services, for the approval to transfer control of MCI Communications Corporation to WorldCom, Inc., by merger, through the transfer of stock.

   This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, Harrisburg, with a copy served on the applicant on or before January 5, 1998, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
