PENNSYLVANIA PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION

Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Publication of this notice shall be considered as sufficient notice to all carriers holding authority from this Commission. Applications will be considered without hearing in the absence of protests to the application. Protests to the applications published herein are due on or before October 4, 1999, as set forth at 52 Pa. Code § 3.381 (relating to applications for transportation of property and persons). The protests shall also indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application or the permanent application or both.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods by transfer as described under each application.

   A-00116154. Latrobe Moving and Storage Company (R.R. 7, Box 190 A, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, PA 15650), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--household goods in use:  (1) between points in the borough of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, and within 3 miles by the usually traveled highways of the limits of said borough; (2) from points in the borough of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, and within 3 miles by the usually traveled highways of the limits of said borough, to other points within 15 miles by the usually traveled highways of the limits of said borough, and vice versa; (3) between points in the borough of Latrobe, Derry, Ligonier, and Youngstown, and the townships of Mt. Pleasant, Unity, Ligonier, Derry and Cook, Westmoreland County; (4) from points in the boroughs of Latrobe, Derry, Ligonier and Youngstown, and the townships of Mt. Pleasant, Unity, Ligonier, Derry and Cook, Westmoreland County, to other points in Pennsylvania, vice versa; and (5) property, excluding household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania; which is to be a transfer of all of the rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-00089391 to John P. Lovrich (Deceased) and Harry J. Grimme, Copartners, t/d/b/a Latrobe Moving and Storage Company, (Harry J. Grimme, Executor of the Estate of John P. Applications of the following for approval amendment of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.

   A-00112577, Folder 1, Am-A. Airport Limousine Service, Inc., t/d/b/a Embassy Coach (36 South Sixth Street, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15203), a corporation of the State of Delaware--persons and their baggage, in limousine service, from points in the township of North Huntingdon, and the cities of Jeannette and Greensburg, and the boroughs of Irwin, Mt. Pleasant, Scottdale, Latrobe and Monessen, all located in the county of Westmoreland, to the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport located in Moon and Findlay Townships, Allegheny County, and vice versa; limited to the transportation of persons having prior or subsequent movement by air; with this right subject to the following condition: That the service herein authorized shall be rendered in vehicles having a seating capacity of not less than seven nor more than 11 passengers without the use of taximeters or dome lights: So as to permit the transportation of persons in airport transfer service, in limousines and luxury-type vehicles, from points in the counties of Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Greene, Indiana, Somerset and Westmoreland, to the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport located in the township of Moon, Allegheny County; and the Allegheny County Airport, located in the borough of West Mifflin, Allegheny County; subject to the following conditions: (1) That no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service from points in the townships of Adams, Connoquenessing, Cranberry, Forward, Jackson, Lancaster, Butler, Penn and Middlesex, and the boroughs of Seven Fields and Zelienople, Butler County; and (2) That service from Westmoreland County is restricted to transportation of four or more persons from one origin point for whom a reservation has been made by a single party or person, but who are charged individually; which is to be a transfer of all of the right issued at A-00108361, Folder 2 to Carriage Limousine Services, Inc., subject to the same limitations and conditions.
