Establishing Holding Company Structure

Without Hearing

   A-120001 F5000.  NUI Corporation. Application of NUI Corporation for all approvals required under the Public Utility Code for the establishment of a holding company structure whereby the holding company will become owner of all of the applicant's outstanding common stock; the holding company name will be changed to NUI Corporation, and the applicant's name will be changed to NUI Utilities, Inc.

   This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before May 1, 2000, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).

   Applicant: NUI Corporation.
