Availability of Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Title XX Social Services Block Grant Planning Document

   The Department of Public Welfare (Department) is making available for public review and comment the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) Plan. Comments on this document will be used to formulate the Department's final plan for using Title XX Social Services Block Grant funds in Fiscal Year 2001-2002.

   Persons wishing to obtain a copy of the Plan may do so at their local County Assistance Office or by contacting the Department at the following address.

   Persons wishing to submit written comments on this Plan must do so by June 15, 2001. Comments are to be addressed to John R. Gibble, Department of Public Welfare, Office of Social Programs, Bureau of Social Services, 2nd Floor, Bertolino Building, P. O. Box 2675, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2675.

Availability of Other Social Services Block Grant Documents

   The Department of Public Welfare, in accordance with the requirements of Title XX Block Grants to States for Social Services (42 U.S.C.A. § 1397) announces the availability of the following Social Services Block Grant documents:

   a.  Social Services Block Grant Annual Report for Fiscal Year 1999-2000;

   b.  Fiscal Year 2000-2001 Social Services Block Grant Pre-Expenditure Report.

   These documents are available by written request to John R. Gibble at the address previously indicated.

   Persons with a disability may request a copy of the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 SSBG Plan and/or provide comments by using the AT&T Relay Service. The Relay Service may also be used to request any of the other SSBG documents which are available.
