PENNSYLVANIA PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION

Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Publication of this notice shall be considered as sufficient notice to all carriers holding authority from this Commission. Applications will be considered without hearing in the absence of protests to the application. Protests to the applications published herein are due on or before June 4, 2001, as set forth at 52 Pa. Code § 3.381 (relating to applications for transportation of property and persons). The protest shall also indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application or the permanent application or both.

Application of the following for the additional right approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of household goods by transfer as described under each application.

   A-00116219, Folder 2. A. Mastrocco, Jr. Moving & Storage, Inc. (320 Constance Drive, Unit 3, Warminster, Bucks County, PA 18974), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--additional right--(1) household goods in use, between points in the city and county of Philadelphia; and (2) household goods in use, from points in the city and county of Philadelphia, to points within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of the Philadelphia City Hall: which is to be a transfer of the rights authorized under the certificate issued to Anthony P. Mastrocco at A-00089292, subject to the same limitations and conditions.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as a common carrier for transportation of household goods as described under each application.

   A-00117793.  Anthony Merone (2937 South 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148)--household goods in use, between points in the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia, and from points in said counties to points in Pennsylvania, and vise versa.

Applications of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00088477, Folder 4 Am-B. Lehigh Valley Taxicab Co. (130 West Goepp Street, Bethlehem, Lehigh County, PA 18018), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, inter alia--persons, in airport transport service, between the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Airport, in the township of Hanover, Lehigh County, and points within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of the limits of said airport; subject to the following conditions: (1) that all transportation must either originate or terminate at the above-named airport; and (2) the service herein authorized is limited to transportation in vehicles having a seating capacity of not more than 15 persons including the driver, without the use of dome lights or taximeters: So as to permit the transportation of (1) persons, in airport transfer service, from points in the township of Hanover, Lehigh County, and within an airline distance of 100 statute miles of the limits thereof, to the Lehigh Valley International Airport, located in the township of Hanover, Lehigh County; subject to the following condition: that the transportation is limited to the use of vehicles having a seating capacity of not more than 15 persons including the driver, without the use of dome lights or taximeters; (2) persons, who are passengers from diverted flights or who are stranded passengers, from the Lehigh Valley International Airport, located in the township of Hanover, Lehigh County, to any other airport located in Pennsylvania.

Applications of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00109539, Folder 2. A.S.A.P. Courier Corporation (25 Stevens Avenue, Reading, Berks County, PA 19609), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--persons in paratransit service, for Saint Joseph Hospital, between points in the city of Reading, Berks County; subject to the following condition: transportation is limited to shuttle bus service for employees, patients and persons conducting business with Saint Joseph Hospital. Application for temporary authority has been filed at A-00109539, F. 2, seeking the right cited. Attorney: Mike L. Swindler, 212 Locust Street, Suite 500, P. O. Box 9500, Harrisburg, PA 17108-9500.

Application of the following for approval of the right to begin to operate as a broker for the transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00117768.  Executive Coach Marketing & Consulting, Inc. (4425 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19140), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--brokerage license--to arrange for the transportation of persons, between points in Pennsylvania.
