Highmark Inc. d/b/a Pennsylvania Blue Shield; Filing Nos. 200110 and 200111

   On May 8, 2001, Highmark Inc. d/b/a Pennsylvania Blue Shield submitted filings under section 9 of the Accident and Health Filing Reform Act (40 P. S. §§ 3801--3815) requesting the approval of Hospital Facility Agreements for both traditional and managed care products. By the previous filings, Highmark is seeking approval of hospital facility agreements in order to operate as a hospital plan corporation and a professional health plan corporation under the trade name Pennsylvania Blue Shield in the 21 counties that also comprise the service area of Capital Blue Cross.

   Copies of the filings are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Erie and Philadelphia.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Richard Stoner, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
