The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 9, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. followed by the public hearing at 8 p.m. at Nittany Valley Volunteer Fire Company, 5101 Nittany Valley Drive, Lamar, PA. The meeting is to solicit pertinent comments on the application.
This proposed action is for reissuance of an NPDES permit for an existing discharge from the fish culture station to Fishing Creek in Logan Township, Clinton County
The receiving stream, Fishing Creek, is in the State Water Plan watershed 9-c (Bald Eagle) and is classified as a High Quality-Cold Water Fishery.
Copies of the application are available for review in the following office of DEP. Those interested in reviewing the application should call to schedule a date to review the files.
