BASIN COMMISSION

Final Action Taken under the Southeastern Pennsylvania Groundwater Protected Area Regulations

   The Executive Director of the Delaware River Basin Commission (Commission), with the concurrence of the Commonwealth member of the Commission, has taken the following action on a previously received application for a protected area permit.

   Persons aggrieved by this action may request a hearing to review the action under Article 6 of the Commission's Administrative Manual--Rules of Practice and Procedure (25 P. S. § 901.1). Requests must be submitted in writing to the Commission Secretary, Delaware River Basin Commission, P. O. Box 7360, West Trenton, NJ 08628-0360. Hearing requests must be filed within 30 days of the action and conform in content to the requirements set forth in Article 6. Copies of the Rules of Practice and Procedure are available on the Commission's website, www.drbc.state.nj.us, and by contacting the Commission Secretary at (609) 883-9500 ext. 203.

   Groundwater Protected Area Permit. Docket No. D-91-61 P.A. Renewal. Ground water withdrawal, East Rockhill Township, Om Chopra, Thomas & Betts Corporation, 8155 T&B Boulevard, Memphis, TN 38125.

   The project is located in East Rockhill Township, Bucks County, within the Southeastern Pennsylvania Ground Water Protected Area.

   Description of Proposed Action/Activity: Renewal of a ground water withdrawal permit to continue to supply up to 1.32 million gallons (mg)/30 days of water from the applicant's existing Wells Nos. 4 and 5 in the Lockatong and Brunswick Formations.
