Administrative Order Appointing and Approving Custody Mediators and Custody Mediation Supervisors; No. 2003 MI 00211

Administrative Order

   And Now, To Wit, this 11th day of July, 2003, it is Ordered that the following mediators are appointed and approved as supervisors, for the term of 2003 and until further Order, for individuals seeking to become custody mediators under Pa.R.Civ.P. § 1940.4:

Edward John Mitton, Esquire
Rebecca Nelson Tortorici, Esquire
Audrey Ellen Woloshin, Esquire

   It Is Further Ordered that the following individuals are appointed and approved as custody mediators, under Pa.R.Civ.P. § 1940.4, for the term of 2003 and until further Order:

Joseph Charles Adams, Esquire
Irene E. Burrill, L.S.W.
Claudia Leigh DeArment, Esquire
Susan Apple Docktor, Esquire
Edward John Mitton, Esquire
Rebecca Nelson Tortorici, Esquire
Marilyn Anita Vestal, MBA, Ph.D.
Audrey Ellen Woloshin, Esquire

   Any individual approved as a mediator or any mediator approved as a custody mediation supervisor shall remain in compliance with any and all rules and regulations of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and shall only mediate custody cases in conformity with procedures and duties set forth under Pa.R.Civ.P. § 1940.1--1940.9.

   The appointment of Marilyn Anita Vestal, MBA, Ph.D. is conditioned upon her strict compliance with Pa.R.Civ.P. § 1940.4(a)(4), requiring additional mediation training consisting of a minimum of 4 mediated cases totaling 10 hours under the supervision of one of the listed mediation supervisors.

   It Is Further Ordered that, in accordance with Pa.R.Civ.P. § 239, the District Court Administrator shall:

   (a)  File seven copies hereof with the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts;

   (b)  Distribute two certified copies hereof to the Legislative Reference Bureau for Publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin;

   (c)  File one certified copy hereof with the Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee;

   (d)  Cause a copy hereof to be published in the York Legal Record at the expense of the County of York; and

   (e)  Supervise the distribution hereof to all Judges, the mediators appointed, and to the custody conciliators.
