[33 Pa.B. 5149]

The Housing Finance Agency (Agency) invites a Summary of Qualifications from organizations or individuals (applicants) to act as conference coordinator for the 2004 Statewide Housing Forum (forum). The forum is an event that emphasizes the central role of housing and its importance to the family and covers many facets of the subject. It will be attended by developers, property managers, lenders, suppliers, tax credit syndicators, advocates, planners and a wide variety of other individuals involved in many aspects of rental and ownership housing. This will be the fourth conference the Agency has held. The last conference was in November 2002.

Approximately 600--700 attendees are expected. Dates have not been determined.

It is anticipated that the conference coordinator will handle all matters concerned with scheduling, planning, organizing and executing the forum's plenary sessions, meals, workshops and receptions, including arrangements for registration, speakers, conference logistics, exhibitors and food service functions.

By this notice, the Agency is inviting submission of a Summary of Qualifications from applicants wishing to be considered as conference coordinator for this event. The Summary of Qualifications will be reviewed by the Agency, which may take into consideration factors the Agency, in its discretion, deems appropriate. The applicant selected will work directly with the Agency to manage the forum.

The Summary of Qualifications must be received by the Agency by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2003, at the Agency's offices, 2101 North Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110. The Summary of Qualifications should provide a brief outline of the applicant's experience and background and should provide general information about fees typically charged by the applicant for event coordination.

Submit the Summary of Qualifications to Paula Brightbill at the previous address, fax (717) 780-3905, pbrightbill@phfa.org. It may be advisable to require that the applicant confirm receipt of the submission if they submit via fax or email.

The Agency's decision will be made as soon as possible after it has considered submissions. The Agency reserves the right to withdraw, amend or modify this invitation or to select more than one applicant or to reject all applicants, in its sole discretion. Information submitted to the Agency is the property of the Agency and may be public information.
