FY 2003 Emergency Responders Resources and Training Program

   The Department of Community and Economic Development announces the availability of guidelines for the FY 2003 Emergency Responders Resources and Training Program (Program). The Program provides grants for facilities and equipment to support the operation of fire, ambulance and emergency medical services, operational support for fire, ambulance and emergency medical services that enhances the health, safety and welfare of citizens in this Commonwealth, emergency services training activities and projects that improve the stability and public safety of the community.

   Assistance from the Program is in the form of grants from the Commonwealth to eligible applicants for projects which conform to the eligibility criteria detailed in the Program guidelines.

   Grants are made in two funding rounds during the fiscal year. Application deadlines and tentative announcement dates for each round are outlined in the following chart.
