Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by February 23, 2004. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

   Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00120378. Alfonso M. Logan t/d/b/a We Are Blessed Limousine Service (5402 Norfolk Street, Philadelphia, PA 19143)--persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to correctional facilities in Pennsylvania, and return.

   A-00120257 (Corrected). Keisha L. Martin t/d/b/a Martin Transportation Service (P. O. Box 2759, Philadelphia, PA 19120)--persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to correctional facilities in Pennsylvania, and return.

   A-00120377. Robert E. Weicksel (2124 Kirkwood Pike, Kirkwood, Lancaster County, PA 17536)--persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, between points in the County of Lancaster, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

   Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

   A-00113766, Folder 1, Am-A. John Four Transportation Services, Inc. t/d/b/a Shamrock Transportation Services (126 McClellan Drive, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15236), a corporation of the Commonwealth--persons, in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania: So As To Permit the transportation persons in limousine service, between points in the County of Allegheny.    Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.

   A-00120380, F.2. Elheth, LLC t/d/b/a Electric City Cab (946 Columbia Street, Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA 18509)--persons upon call or demand: (1) in the City of Scranton, Lackawanna County; limited to 32 motor vehicles; (2) in the Boroughs of Moosic, Old Forge, Taylor, Dunmore, Throop and Olyphant, and within an airline distance of 3 statute miles of the limits of the Borough of Olyphant, all in Lackawanna County (F.1); and (3) in the City of Scranton, Lackawanna County, limited to 18 motor vehicles (F.3); which is to be a transfer of the rights authorized under the certificates issued at A-00113298, Fs. 1 and 3, to McCarthy Flowered Cabs, Inc., subject to the same limitations and conditions. Elheth, LLC t/d/b/a Electric City Cab (946 Columbia Street, Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA 18509)--persons in airport transfer service, from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport, located in the Township of Pittston, Luzerne County, to points within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of said airport, and vice versa; subject to the following conditions: (1) that no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service to points in the County of Monroe, and within an airline distance of 10 statute miles of the limits thereof; and (2) that no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service to the City of Pittston and the Townships of Pittston and Jenkins and the Boroughs of Duryea, Avoca, Dupont, West Pittston, Exeter, Wyoming, Laflin, Yatesville and Hughestown, all in Luzerne County; which is to be a transfer of the right authorized under the certificate issued at A-00113298, F.2, to McCarthy Flowered Cabs, subject to the same limitations and conditions.
