Erie Insurance Exchange; Homeowners; Rate Revision

 On February 10, 2012, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Erie Insurance Exchange a filing for a rate level change for homeowners insurance.

 Erie Insurance Exchange requests an overall 9.9% increase amounting to $35,501,722 annually, to be effective June 1, 2012. This overall figure represents an average; the effect of this filing on the rates for individual consumers may vary.

 Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 10, 2012, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

 A copy of the filing is available on the Department's web site at www.insurance.pa.gov. Under the tab ''How to Find . . .'' click on ''PA Bulletin.''

 Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Eric Zhou, Insurance Department, Insurance Product Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, gzhou@pa.gov within30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
