Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by March 19, 2012. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-A-2011-2277604. (Corrected) Providence Township Ambulance Association, Inc., t/a Southern End EMS (14 Pennsy Road, New Providence, Lancaster County, PA 17560)—in paratransit service, using wheelchair and stretcher vans, as well as the transportation of persons who are unable to drive because of age, infirmity and/or due to personal convictions which prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, or those who require transportation for medically relevant purposes, from points in New Providence, Lancaster County, and within an airline distance of 60 statutory miles of said municipality, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

 Subject to the following condition:

 Except for transporting persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, applicant has no right, power or privilege to originate service in the following communities in Lancaster County: East Lampeter Township, the City of Lancaster, Lancaster and Manor Townships, Millersville and Strasburg Boroughs, Strasburg Township, Adamstown and Akron Boroughs, Brecknock and Caernarvon Townships, Terre Hill and Denver Boroughs, East Cocalico Township, Ephrata Brorough, Ephrata, Clay, West Cocalico, West Earl, Earl and East Earl Townships, Lititz Borough, Manheim Township, New Holland Borough, Warwick Township, Elizabethtown Borough, West Donegal Township (not including the Village of Rheems), Mount Joy Township (not including southeast of Ridge Road), and East Donegal Township (not including the portion of the Township north of Donegal Spring Road).
