THADDEUS STEVENS COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY

 Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is soliciting bids for Project No. 12-0001 to purchase equipment for an existing cabinet shop dust collector. Pricing and options for equipment to supply Explosion Protection/Fire suppression per NFPA 654 is needed. Mechanical devices on the inlet (dirty air side) of the dust collector will not be acceptable. Included will be all engineering, hardware, materials, control panels and labor to support the installation of the protection equipment for the wood dust collection equipment stated as follows. The design criteria is as follows: dust collector—Donaldson Torit HPH 54 Bag House—located outside with an explosion vent; Material being collected—dry wood products—KST value unknown; fan requirements—11,000 CFM at 19" WG SP 208 Volts, 3 Phase; filtered air will be returned to the building by means of a 26" diameter duct.
