Cyber Charter School Application; Public Hearings Cancellation

The Department of Education (Department) previously scheduled five dates for public hearings regarding cyber charter school applications anticipated to be received on or before October 3, 2016.
The following hearings have been canceled: October 25, 2016; November 1, 2016; November 8, 2016; and November 14, 2016.
The Department received no new 2016 cyber charter applications by the deadline of Monday, October 3, 2016. As a result of not receiving any new applications, the requirement to hold public hearings is obviated.
