Delaware River Watershed Conservation Plan

 The Department of Conservation and Natural Resource (Department), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation (Bureau) has approved the Delaware River Watershed Conservation Plan (Plan) for the Delaware River Corridor and Naamans, Marcus Hook and Stoney Creek Watersheds and is placing the Delaware River Corridor, Naamans, Marcus Hook and Stoney Creek Watersheds covered in the Plan on the Pennsylvania Rivers Conservation Registry (Registry).

 The Delaware County Planning Department submitted the Plan and other required information to gain Registry status.

 After review of the Plan and other information, the Department has determined that the Pennsylvania Rivers Conservation Program (Program) requirements have been satisfied and placed the following on the Registry:

 • The watershed of the Delaware River including, more specifically, the watersheds of the Delaware River Corridor, Naamans, Marcus Hook and Stoney Creek.

 This action becomes effective November 4, 2017. Projects submitted to the Bureau, which are identified as part of the Plan, will be given high consideration for implementation, development or acquisition grant funding through the Program.
