Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed in the event that there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by December 24, 2018. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2018-3006056. David E. Stoltzfus (6 Runway Avenue, New Holland, Lancaster County, PA 17557) in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2018-3006098. Metro Ride, LLC (322 North Shore Drive, Building 1B, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15212) in paratransit service in wheelchair and stretcher vans, from points in the Counties of Armstrong, Beaver, Berks, Bucks, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lawrence, Lebanon, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Warren, Washington, Westmoreland and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as a broker for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2018-3006081. OurBus, Inc. (79 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10016-7802) for a brokerage license evidencing the Commission's approval of the right and privilege to operate as a broker, to arrange for the transportation of persons between points in Pennsylvania.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of household goods by transfer of rights as described under each application.

A-2018-3005979. Rocket Moving, LLC (330 North Wyoming Avenue, Shillington, Berks County, PA 19610) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

A-2018-3006051. Armbruster Moving & Storage, Inc. (2800 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.
