 Under Article V, Section 10 of the Constitution of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court has the authority to inter alia prescribe general rules governing practice, procedure and the conduct of the courts. In September 2005, the Supreme Court adopted Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure 1030—1037. These rules govern procedures in Philadelphia Municipal Court Traffic Division for summary traffic cases.

 In light of Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure 1030—1037, Section 111, Chapter 29 of Title 204 of the Pennsylvania Code is obsolete and therefore should be removed.
