Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by August 26, 2019. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2019-3011422. Juana A. Vidal, t/a Juana Transportation (598 Hayes Street, Hazleton, Luzerne County, PA 18201) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicles, persons in paratransit service, between points in Luzerne County.

A-2019-3011747. Limoman416, LLC (416 Coreopsis Drive, Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA 17602) persons in limousine service, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2019-3011748. Premier Limousine Services, LLC (111 Robinson Road, Greentown, Pike County, PA 18426) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Pike and Wayne to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2019-3011813. Jay D. Transport, LLC (1323 Washburn Street, Scranton, PA 18504) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2019-3011816. CMC Transport, LLC (P.O. Box 126, Kelayres, Schuylkill County, PA 18231) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicles, persons in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Luzerne and Schuylkill.

A-2019-3011840. Woodrow Cothran, Jr., t/a Moving Others Around Safely (6730 North 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126) persons, in group and party service, in vehicles seating between 11 and 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service in areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Application of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2019-3008929. D & S Airport Transportation Services, LLC (128 Hazle Street, Barnesville, PA 18214) for the additional right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in airport transfer service, from points in Carbon, Luzerne and Schuylkill Counties, to Harrisburg International Airport, Lehigh Valley International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2019-3011733. Joyce Joyner Puckett (35 Blackburn Road, Quarryville, Lancaster County, PA 17566) discontinuance of service and cancellation of her certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating a motor vehicle, between points in the County of Lancaster, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa.

A-2019-3011734. Keith Pack (14544 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32828) discontinuance of service and cancellation of his certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
