Change to Community Housing Development Organizations Operating Requests

 The Department of Community and Economic Development, Center for Community and Housing Development, is changing its funding request limit for Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) requesting operating assistance. The change is:

Certified CHDOs are eligible to request operating assistance through the HOME Program. A CHDO can receive up to 50% of its annual operating budget or $50,000, whichever is greater. Applications for CHDO operating funding must also be submitted at the same time as the project funding and CHDO Certification application submissions. Applications for CHDO operating funding are submitted separately through the Electronic Single Application and require the submission of the General Application only.
