MINING ACTIVITY ACTIONS Actions on applications under the Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act (52 P. S. §§ 1396.1--1396.19a); the Noncoal Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act (52 P. S. §§ 3301--3326); The Clean Streams Law (35 P. S. §§ 691.1--691.1001); the Coal Refuse Disposal Control Act (52 P. S. §§ 30.51--30.66); the Bituminous Mine Subsidence and Land Conservation Act (52 P. S. §§ 1406.1--1406.21). R. 0006 (Towanda, PA Quadrangle N: 8.5 inches; W: 13 inches) in North Towanda Township, Bradford County.
E14-275. Encroachment. Joseph C. Meter, Jr., 511 West Branch Road, State College, PA 16801. Repair and maintain an existing single span bridge across Slab Cabin Run to provide access to private property. Work shall consist of replacing the abutments and superstructure that will provide a minimum span of 30.0 feet and an average underclearance of 6.0 feet. The proposed work is located approximately 1,000.0 feet south of the intersection of S. R. 3009 and S. R. 0322 State College, PA Quadrangle N: 5.8 inches; W: 11.4 inches in College Township, Centre County.

The project is located just upstream of the confluence of the Allegheny River and Plum Creek, approximately 700 feet south of the intersection of College Avenue and Allegheny River Boulevard (New Kensington West, PA Quadrangle N: 2.0 inches; W: 13.5 inches) in Oakmont Borough, Allegheny County.
E02-1127. Encroachment. U. S. Steel Group, 1206 Braddock Avenue, Braddock, PA 15104. To relocate, operate and maintain the existing outfall structure on the right bank of, and in the channel of the Monongahela River for the purpose of the relocation of the Army Corps of Engineer's Lock and Dam No. 2. The project is located at River Mile 11.3 (Braddock, PA Quadrangle N: 2.8 inches; W: 15.0 inches) in North Braddock Borough, Allegheny County. This permit was issued under section 105.13(e) ''Small Projects''. This permit also includes 401 Water Quality Certification.
E32-368. Encroachment. Department of Transportation, P. O. Box 429, Indiana, PA 15701-0429. To construct and maintain a 20-foot by 7.5-foot concrete box culvert (bottom slab depressed 1.5 feet) in the proposed relocated Stoney Run located on the proposed S. R. 3043, Section 490 (Rose Street Extension) and to relocate and maintain said stream for a length of 950 L. F. starting from 200 feet upstream of the proposed culvert. The project includes construction and maintenance of two outfall structures (Indiana, PA Quadrangle N: 19.50 inches; W: 5.37 inches). The project is in White Township, Indiana County.
E63-401. Encroachment. Kenneth M. Kochman, 584 Cherryhill Drive, Bridgeville, PA 15136. To place and maintain fill in the floodway of and along the left bank of an unnamed tributary to Chartiers Creek for the purpose of improving applicant's property, and to extend and maintain the existing 15-inch diameter outfall pipe on the left bank of said stream. The project is located on Cherrybrook Lot 22, approximately 2,500 feet northeast of the intersection of Baker Road and Interstate Route 79 (Canonsburg, PA Quadrangle N: 11.6 inches; W: 2.0 inches) in Cecil Township, Washington County. This permit was issued under section 105.13(e) ''Small Projects''. This permit also includes 401 Water Quality Certification.
E63-403. Encroachment. Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation, P. O. Box 8476, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8476. To relocate and maintain approximately 2,800 feet of the channel of a tributary to the Monongahela River, to remove debris from the existing culverts in said stream and to place and maintain fill in an intermittent impoundment on the left bank of the Monongahela River for the purpose of reclaiming approximately 64 acres of an abandoned mine site (Project No. OSM 63 (4756) 101.1). The project is located on the north side of the intersection of First Street and State Highway 62198 (California, PA Quadrangle N: 0.8 inch; W: 8.3 inches) in Centerville Borough, Washington County.
E65-623. Encroachment. Dept. of Transportation, P. O. Box 459, Uniontown, PA 15401. To remove the existing structure and to construct and maintain a bridge having a normal span of 40 feet and an underclearance of 7.8 feet across Welty Run. The bridge is located on S. R. 2023, Section B01, Station 71+06 (Mammoth, PA Quadrangle N: 15.8 inches; W: 14.3 inches) in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County.

S. §§ 2001--2014) and regulations promulgated thereunder at 25 Pa. Code Chapter 240, has certified the persons listed below to perform radon-related activities in Pennsylvania. The period of certification is 2 years.
