Pennsylvania Blue Shield; Manipulation Therapy Encounter Codes and Allowance Changes
[26 Pa.B. 5776] On November 1, 1996, Pennsylvania Blue Shield submitted for the Department's review and approval allowance reductions for use with the Greater Philadelphia Preferred Provider Network in the Personal Choice programs and higher benefit maximums in Major Medical allowances to professional providers in the Philadelphia area for manipulation therapy encounter codes. The filing requests approval to implement these revised allowances effective retroactive to October 1, 1996. This filing consists of 13 pages.
