   The Department of Environmental Protection has taken the following actions on previously received permit applications and requests for plan approval and has issued the following significant orders.

   Any person aggrieved by this action may appeal, under section 4 of the Environmental Hearing Board Act (35 P. S. § 7514), and 2 Pa.C.S. §§ 501--508 and 701--704 (relating to the Administrative Agency Law) to the Environmental Hearing Board, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8457, (717) 787-3483. Appeals must be filed with the Environmental Hearing Board within 30 days of receipt of written notice of this action unless the appropriate statute provides a different time period. Copies of the appeal form and the Board's rules of practice and procedure may be obtained from the Board. The following final report was submitted under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (35 P. S. §§ 6026.101--6026.908).

   Provisions of Chapter 3 of the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (act) require the Department of Environmental Protection to publish in the Pennsylvania Bulletin a notice of submission of any final reports. A final report is submitted to document cleanup of a release of a regulated substance at a site to one of the act's remediation standards. A final report provides a description of the site investigation to characterize the nature and extent of contaminants in environmental media, the basis for selecting the environmental media of concern, documentation supporting the selection of residential or nonresidential exposure factors, a description of the remediation performed, and summaries of sampling methodology and analytical results which demonstrate that the remediation has attained the cleanup standard selected.

   For further information concerning the final report, please contact the Environmental Cleanup Program in the Department of Environmental Protection Regional Office under which the notice of receipt of a final report appears. Plan Revision Approval under the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act (53 P. S. §§ 4000.101--4000.1904).

   The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) approved a revision to the Centre County Municipal Waste Management Plan on December 20, 1996. There were no additional conditions.
