Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications
[27 Pa.B. 4057] The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Publication of this notice shall be considered as sufficient notice to all carriers holding authority from this Commission. Applications will be considered without hearing in the absence of protests to the application. Protests to the applications published herein are due on or before September 2, 1997 as set forth at 52 Pa. Code § 3.381 (relating to applications for transportation of property and persons). The protests shall also indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application or the permanent application or both.
Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.
A-00114133. Servelease, Inc. (5251 Glenloch Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19124), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--persons in airport transfer service (1) from points in the city and county of Philadelphia, to the Philadelphia International Airport, in the city and county of Philadelphia and the township of Tinicum, Delaware County; and (2) from points in the county of Delaware, to the Philadelphia International Airport located in the city and county of Philadelphia and the township of Tinicum, Delaware County; with Right No. 2 subject to the following condition: That no right is granted to provide service: (a) to or from the township of Radnor, Marple and Haverford; (b) to or from the Media Inn in the borough of Media; (c) to or from the Saint Albans Travel Agency in the township of Newton; and (d) to or from points situated west of a line beginning at the intersection of Pennsylvania State Highway Route 252 and the Chester County Line, thence south on Route 252 to its intersection with Pennsylvania State Highway Route 320, thence south on Route 320 to its intersection with the Chester City Line, thence south and east along the Chester City Line to the Delaware River; which is to be a transfer of all of the rights authorized under the certificates issued at A-00107128, Folders 1 and 2 to Philadelphia Airport Shuttle, Inc., subject to the same limitations and conditions.
