To construct and maintain a pedestrian bridge spanning Core Creek (CWF, MF) and associated approach grading as part of the proposed regional 3.3 mile long walking trail which will link Tyler State Park and Core Creek Park. The proposed prefabricated pedestrian bridge unit, a 60-foot long by 8-foot wide steel frame with wooden deck structure, will be placed on new reinforced concrete abutments and will have minimum underclearance of approximately 6 feet. The proposed bridge is situated within the former Newtown-Yardley Road's right-of-way, immediately upstream of the Newtown By-Pass Road (S. R. 332) at a point approximately 300 feet east of the intersection of Silver Lake Road (Langhorne, PA Quadrangle N: 19.3 inches; W: 3.7 inches) in Newtown Township, Bucks County. This permit was issued under section 105.13(e) Small Projects. This permit also includes 401 Water Quality Certification.
E46-770. Encroachment Permit. Hatfield Township, 1950 School Road, Hatfield, PA 19440-1992. To replace the existing deteriorated and inadequate single span Line Lexington Road Bridge which crosses the Unionville Tributary of the West Branch of Neshaminy Creek (WWF-MF). The proposed single span bridge consists of composite prestressed concrete adjacent box beams with reinforced concrete slab superstructure on reinforced concrete cantilever type abutments with appurtenant wing-walls. The 40-foot clear span bridge, will have a 30-foot roadway width with a 5-foot sidewalk, and have 4 feet 10 inches of minimum underclearance. The proposed work also includes placing rip-rap stone protection along the new abutments and wing walls. This bridge is located approximately a half mile southwest of the intersection of County Line Road (S. R. 309) and Line Lexington Road (Telford, PA Quadrangle N: 5.2 inches; W: 2.8 inches) in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County. This permit was issued under section 105.13(e) Small Projects. This permit also includes 401 Water Quality Certification.
E09-755. Encroachment Permit. Middletown Township, 2140 Trenton Avenue, Levittown, PA 19056-1483. To relocate a reach of an unnamed tributary to Queen Anne Creek (WWF) into a stormwater management basin, to excavate within its assumed 100-year floodway to provide storage capacity and to construct and maintain a 45-foot extension to the upstream end of an existing 24-inch reinforced concrete stream enclosure which will disturb a total of approximately 255 feet of stream and 0.28 acre of wetland. The site is located just north of the intersection of Terrace Road and Trim Road, approximately 1,000 feet southeast of the intersection of Woodbourne Road (SR 2033) and Lincoln Highway (SR 2037) (Langhorne USGS Quadrangle N: 9.1 inches; W: 1.1 inches) in Middletown Township, Bucks County. This permit also approves an Environmental Assessment for the proposed in-stream nonjurisdictional dam. This permit requires the construction of 1.3 acres of replacement wetlands.
E46-786. Encroachment Permit. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 6-0, 200 Radnor-Chester Road, St. Davids, PA 19087-5178. To replace the existing deteriorated Bridge Road (S. R. 1015) steel truss bridge which spans Skippack Creek (TSF) at a point immediately upstream of the Evansburg State Park boundary. The proposed bridge will be constructed at the same location and includes reconstruction and relocation of approximately 650 feet of roadway bridge approaches. The proposed multiple stringer, composite steel deck bridge structure with a 78-foot single span and a minimum underclearance of 10.4 feet will be supported by reinforced concrete abutments. The width of the proposed bridge, will be increased from 16 feet to 34 feet to accommodate two lane automobile traffic. The work also will include placing a rock scour protection along abutment footings and wing walls. The bridge is located approximately 500 feet south of the intersection of Old Forty Foot Road (S. R. 1006) with Bridge Road (Collegeville, PA Quadrangle N: 19.9 inches; W: 0.4 inch) in Lower Salford and Towamencin Townships, Montgomery County. This permit was issued under section 105.13(e) Small Projects. This permit also includes 401 Water Quality Certification.
