Application of Vanguard Telecom Corporation for approval to offer, render, furnish or supply telecommunications services as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier and as a Competitive Access Provider, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the geographic service areas of the following local exchange carriers: Bell Atlantic--Pennsylvania, GTE, Sprint/United Telephone, Conestoga Telephone, Denver and Ephrata Telephone, Alltel Pennsylvania, Inc., Buffalo Valley Telephone Company, Citizens Telecommunications Company of New York, C-Tec Company, Contel of Pennsylvania, Inc., d/b/a GTE PA, Deposit Telephone Company, Inc., Frontier Communications, Hancock Telephone Company, Ironton Telephone Company, Lackawaxen Telephone Company, Mahanoy and Mahantango Telephone Company, North Eastern Pennsylvania Telephone Company, North Penn Telephone Company, Palmerton Telephone Company, Pennsylvania Telephone Company, Quaker State Telephone Company, South Canaan Telephone Company, Sugar Valley Telephone Company (TDS Telecom), United Telephone Company of Pennsylvania and Commonwealth Telephone.

Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before June 29, 1998, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
