Lumber Heritage Region Management Action Plan Study; Request for Proposal

   The North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission, in conjunction with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Lumber Heritage Region Core Steering Committee Task Force, is soliciting responses from consultants to conduct a Management Action Plan Study as outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) available from the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission.

   The purpose of the Management Action Plan is to expand upon the information and structure developed during the Lumber Heritage Region Feasibility Study with the final goal to be designated as a Pennsylvania State Heritage Park with lumber as the theme.

   Copies of the Request for Proposal will be available until 4 p.m., Friday, September 29, 1998, by contacting Bob Imhof, Project Coordinator of the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission at (814) 773-3162, by fax at (814) 772-7045 or by e-mail at bimhof@ncentral.com.

   Responses to the Request for Proposal must be received not later than 3 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 1998, to be eligible for consideration.
