State Farm Fire and Casualty Company; Homeowners Rate Filing
[28 Pa.B. 5441] On October 2, 1998, the Insurance Department received from State Farm Fire and Casualty Company two filings for proposed rate level changes for homeowners insurance.
The company requests a combined overall 5.9% increase amounting to $12,247,000 annually to be effective January 1, 1999 for new business and March 1, 1999 for renewal business.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to December 1, 1998, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
Copies of the filing will be available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Xiaofeng Lu, Insurance Department, Bureau of Regulation of Rates and Policies, Room 1311, Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17120 (E-mail: xlu@ins.state.pa.us), within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
