FISH AND BOAT COMMISSION
Designation of Rasler Run, Fayette County, as a Class A Wild Rainbow Trout Fishery
[29 Pa.B. 4831] The Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) conducted stream surveys at two sites on Rasler Run, Fayette County, on July 13-14, 1999, and the mean biomass of wild rainbow trout less than 150 mm in total length for these sites was estimated at 3.40 kg/ha. This exceeds the Commission's Class A criterion of 2 kg/ha. Therefore, the Commission is seeking public comment on the identification of Rasler Run, from the headwaters to the mouth, as a Class A Wild Rainbow Trout Fishery. The Commission previously published a notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin at 25 Pa.B. 4624 (August 28, 1999), stating that the Commission intends to consider at its meeting on September 27, 1999, the republication of its entire list of Class A Wild Trout Streams. The Commission will consider including Rasler Run, from the headwaters to the mouth, on the Class A Wild Trout Streams list.
Persons with comments, objections or suggestions concerning the designation of Rasler Run are invited to submit comments in writing to the Executive Director, Fish and Boat Commission, P. O. Box 67000, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7000 by no later than September 24, 1999. Comments submitted by facsimile will not be accepted. Comments may also be submitted electronically at ''regulations@fish.state.pa.us.'' A subject heading of the proposal and a return name and address must be included in each transmission. In addition, all electronic comments must be contained in the text of the transmission, not in an attachment. If an acknowledgment of electronic comments is not received by the sender within 2 working days, the comments should be resubmitted to ensure receipt.
PETER A. COLANGELO,
Executive Director
