   E46-840. Encroachment. Columbia Transmission Communications Corporation, P. O. Box 10146, Fairfax, VA 22030-0146. Giving its consent to install and maintain a fiber optic utility line communication system across the Green Lane Reservoir (TSF) located approximately 2,400 feet southwest of the intersection of Gravel Pike (S.R. 0029) and Knight Road (Perkiomenville USGS Quadrangle N:  18.00 inches, W:  15.8 inches) in Upper Frederick and Marlborough Townships.

   In addition, the permittee agrees to follow the recommendations made by the PA Fish and Boat Commission and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regarding the construction methods for various wetland crossings along the fiber optic line route which may be potential habitat for the Bog turtle (threatened and endangered species).

   This project is a segment of the Chesapeake Network Fiber Optic Project, which will be installed along existing Columbia Gas Pipeline right-of-way. In Pennsylvania, this project will extend through Lancaster, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Wetland disturbance will be temporary and minimized. In Montgomery County this linear project will extend from a point in Limerick Township (Phoenixville USGS Quadrangle N:  15.1 inches, W:  11.5 inches) to a point in Marlborough Township (Milford Square USGS Quadrangle N:  3.5 inches, W:  9.5 inches) and will traverse Upper Frederick Township. The descriptions and locations of all crossings are listed on the following Table 1.1.
