QualMed Plans for Health; Pharmacy Rate Filing
[29 Pa.B. 6207] On November 11, 1999, QualMed Plans for Health (formerly Greater Atlantic Health Services) submitted a filing requesting a base rate increase of 21.3% for the Community Rated Pharmacy HMO Program for an effective date of January 1, 2000. This filing will affect approximately 10,200 contracts and 19,700 members. The estimated additional annual revenue generated from the 21.3% rate increase is approximately $1.1 million.
Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's Harrisburg Regional Office.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Cherri Sanders-Jones, Actuary, Bureau of Accident and Health Insurance, Insurance Department, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
