Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau; Workers' Compensation Loss Cost Filing
[29 Pa.B. 6544] On December 10, 1999, the Insurance Department (Department) received from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (PCRB) a filing for a loss cost level change for Workers' Compensation insurance. This filing is made in accordance with section 705 of Act 44 of 1993. The PCRB requests an overall 8.32% increase. Also, the PCRB has calculated the employer assessments to be 3.75%, compared to 3.18% last year. Updates to a variety of other rating values and Manual rules to reflect the most recent experience and terminology are also being submitted for approval.
The entire April 1, 2000 loss cost filing will be available for review on the PCRB web site at www.pcrb.com under the section ''Data Reports and Special Studies'' section. Also, copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.
