Notice to the Bar

   Effective May 1, 2000, receipts will no longer be written by the Philadelphia Filing Office of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. All fees must be accompanied in the form of a check or money order. A receipt will be sent to the person tendering the filing fee by the Chief Clerk's Office in Harrisburg after initial processing of the filing. As a result of this change in policy, cash will no longer be accepted in the Philadelphia Filing Office.
