To perform maintenance dredging to remove accumulated sediment deposits from the north and south cooling water intake bays and the screenwell structure approach apron at the PECO Energy Company Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station located along the right bank in the Conowingo Reservoir on the Susquehanna River (WWF) (Holtwood, PA Quadrangle N: 3.6 inches; W: 4.5 inches) in Drumore Township, Lancaster County. E44-102. Encroachment. Mifflin County School District, East Derry Elementary School, 201 Eighth Street--Highland Park, Lewistown, PA 17044. To construct 375 feet of stream channel relocation of an unnamed tributary to Jacks Creek (TSF) in conjunction with the construction of a 16,770 square foot addition to the west side of the existing East Derry Elementary School building; and, to construct 240 foot long flood control earthen berms along both sides of a non-relocated upstream portion of the tributary to divert flood flows into the relocated portion of the tributary to protect the elementary school and downstream properties from flooding located on the south side of Back Maitland Road (SR 2004) about 0.3 mile east of its intersection with SR 2001 (Alfarata, PA Quadrangle N: 1.0 inches; W: 17.1 inches) in Derry Township, Mifflin County. E67-685. Encroachment. Izaak Walton League of America, York County Chapter 97, 7131 Ironstone Hill Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313. To construct and maintain initial phases of a watershed wide stream restoration project in and along the South Branch Codorus Creek (WWF). The project's purpose is to stabilize severely eroded banks, improve water quality and improve fisheries habitat. The watershed projects will implement a natural stream channel design approach and construction activities will include rock vanes, log vanes, cross rock vanes, root wads, bank grading, minor floodway fills, riprap protection, low flow channels, debris jam removal and minor stream relocations. The first two restoration sites of this multi-phase project are located on the Raymond K. Smith property. The first side involves 100 feet of channel restoration located immediately down-stream of the New Freedom Borough Sewage Treatment Plant. The second site will include about 800 feet of restoration located downstream of the SR 0616 bridge (Glen Rock, PA Quadrangle N: 2.5 inches; W: 11.0 inches) in Shrewsbury Township, York County. This permit also includes 401 Water Quality Certification.

To remove the existing structure and to construct and maintain a 0.3-meter depressed, 40.0-meter long, 4.3-meter × 3.0-meter concrete box culvert in an unnamed tributary to Kimberly Run (CWF) for the purpose of improving safety standards. Notice of Planning Grant Awards Under Section 901 of the Municipal Waste Planning Recycling and Waste Reduction Act of 1988, Act 101 The Department of Environmental Protection (Department), announces the following grants to counties under section 901 of the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act (53 P. S. § 4000.901) (Act 101) and section 208 of the Waste Tire Recycling Act/Small Business and Household Pollution Prevention Act (Act 190 of 1996). This notice is being published to correct the amount of a grant award published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin on September 23, 2000.
Planning grants are awarded to counties for 80% of approved costs for preparing municipal waste management plans as required by Act 101, for carrying out related studies, surveys, investigations, inquiries, research and analysis, including those related to siting, environmental mediation, education programs on pollution prevention and household hazardous waste and providing technical assistance to small businesses for pollution prevention. Grants may be awarded for feasibility studies and project development for municipal waste processing or disposal facilities, except for facilities for the combustion of municipal waste that are not proposed to be operated for the recovery of energy. All grant awards are predicated on the receipt of recycling fees required by sections 701 and 702 of Act 101, and the availability of moneys in the Recycling Fund.
