Order And Now, this 5th day of September, 2000, the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania having determined that the appointment of an agent to accept service of process in connection with litigation commenced against the First Judicial District, any of its courts, divisions or employees, as well as subpoenas issued directed to the First Judicial District, its Judges, or its employees, to produce documents or provide testimony would best serve the needs of the FJD and the public at large, It is Hereby Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the Court Administrator of the First Judicial District shall designate, from time to time, an agent on whom service shall be effectuated on behalf of the First Judicial District, any of its courts and divisions or employees. Such designation by the Court Administrator shall be published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin, Legal Intelligencer and posted on the FJD?s website (http://courts.phila.gov).
