Availability of Draft Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant Application for Federal Fiscal Year 2002

   The Draft Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant Application for FFY 2002, under 42 U.S.C.A. § 705(a)(5)(F), is available for review and comment on the Department of Health (Department) website. This application is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's request to the United States Department of Health and Human Services for block grant funding.

   The Block Grant Application describing proposed services, program goals and objectives and activities can be obtained on the Department website at: http://www.health.state.pa.us/php/.

   The draft Block Grant Application can also be obtained by contacting the Department's Bureau of Family Health at (717) 787-7192. Persons with a disability who require an alternative format of the previously mentioned application (that is, large print, audio tape or Braille) should also contact the Bureau of Family Health at (717) 787-7192, V/TT: (717) 783-6514 or Pennsylvania AT&T Relay Service at (800) 654-5584 [TT].

   Comments may be submitted to Ivonne C. Bucher, Director, Bureau of Family Health, Room 733 Health & Welfare Building, Department of Health, P. O. Box 90, Harrisburg, PA 17108. Comments are due by May 29, 2001.
