NOTICES

Export List of Insurance Coverages; Request for Comments

   The Insurance Commissioner (Commissioner) published a notice at 31 Pa.B. 1294 (March 3, 2001) soliciting comments to the export list published at 30 Pa.B. 2692 (May 27, 2000). Consideration was given to all comments received. The Commissioner proposes to amend the May 27, 2000, list to add nursing home liability coverage. Additionally, the Commissioner proposes to amend the May 27, 2000, list to delete the following:

   Amusements
            Carnival ride owners/operators
            Auto racing and automobile race tracks
            Midget autos and go-karts
            Rodeos and horse shows
            Balloon rides--hot air/gas
            Ski resorts owners/operators liability
   Armored cars
   Aviation
            Cargo
            Vehicles maintaining or servicing aircraft
            Nonownership liability
            Hull
            Chartered
            Excess passenger liability
            Antique aircraft
            Airport liability
            Hangarkeeper's liability
            Helicopters
   Blood banks, blood and organ facilities
Earthquake
Explosive hauling
Explosives, munitions or fireworks manufacturing/ storage/sales
Flood insurance not provided under federal flood
insurance
Ground applicators--chemical
Kidnapping, ransom and extortion insurance
Nuclear energy general liability

   Persons wishing to comment on the Commissioner's proposals are invited to submit a written statement within 15 days from the date of this publication. Each written statement must include sufficient detail and relevant facts to inform the Insurance Department of the exact basis of the statement. Formal notification of any changes will be published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin after the 15-day comment period, or a notice will be published stating that the May 27, 2000, list remains in effect.
