Permit No. 100265. Grand Central Sanitary Landfill, Grand Central Sanitary Landfill, Inc., 1963 Pen Argyl Road, Pen Argyl, PA 18072. A major permit modification for the recirculation of treated effluent and side stream discharge from the reverse osmosis system to be used for dust control and litter control at this municipal waste landfill located in Plainfield Township, Northampton County. The permit was issued in the Regional Office on July 24, 2001. This approval allows the side stream discharge from the reverse osmosis unit to be placed only on the working face for dust control and litter control. The effluent from the system can be recirculated by tanker truck on the working face or on other areas for dust control that have a composite liner system.

To perform the following activities associated with the construction of a flood control project in and along approximately 660 linear feet of Plymouth Creek (WWF):
1. To construct and maintain approximately 250 linear feet of cast-in-place concrete channel and associate upstream wingwalls, low flow weir structure and grouted riprap scour protection. The downstream end of the channel will connect to an existing SEPTA culvert.
2. To modify an existing SEPTA railroad arch culvert by removing a portion to improve alignment and facilitate connections with the proposed upstream concrete channel and the proposed downstream box stream enclosure. Work will include excavating the upstream invert of the SEPTA culvert to create a larger hydraulic cross section.
3. To remove the existing conduits and to construct and maintain approximately 300 linear feet of cast-in-place 18-foot by 8.5 box stream enclosure, including the outlet structure and grouted riprap scour protection. The enclosure extends from the SEPTA culvert and terminates at the confluence with the Schuylkill River.
The project commences approximately 400 feet downstream of Elm Street (Norristown PA Quadrangle N: 13.55 inches, W: 8.70 inches) and terminates just upstream of the confluence of Plymouth Creek and the Schuylkill River (Norristown PA Quadrangle N: 13.30 inches, W: 8.80 inches).
E15-610. PennDOT, 7000 Geerdes Boulevard, King of Prussia, PA 19406, East Bradford Township, Chester County, ACOE Philadelphia District.
To perform the following activities associated with roadway improvements near the interchange of Downingtown Pike (S. R. 3072) and Route 322 Bypass:
1. To extend and maintain the downstream side of an existing reinforced concrete T-beam bridge that spans Taylor Run (TSF-MF). This bridge has a single clear span of approximately 24 feet and minimum underclearance of approximately 6.1 feet. The existing structure measures approximately 52.5 in width and the extension will measure an additional 39.4 feet. The modified structure will have equivalent hydraulic dimensions as the existing structure.
2. To extend and maintain the downstream end of an 8-foot by 5.74-foot pipe arch culvert along an unnamed tributary to Taylor Run (TSF-MF). The existing structure consists of an original concrete arch culvert and pipe arch segment from a previous extension. The total length of the existing structure is approximately 73.8 feet. The proposed structure will consist of an additional 42.9 feet of equivalently sized pipe. The total length of the proposed structure will be approximately 116.7 feet.
The project's total wetland impact will be 0.22 acre (PEM). The site is located in the vicinity of the aforementioned intersection (Unionville USGS Quadrangle N: 16.6 inches, W: 1.1 inches). The project has met the wetland replacement requirement of the regulations by making a monetary contribution to the wetland replacement fund for 0.22 acre of wetland.
EO9-819. Doylestown Township, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown, PA 18901, Doylestown Township, Bucks County, ACOE Philadelphia District.
To remove the existing Iron Hill road single span bridge and to install and maintain a precast concrete twin box culvert having a clear span of 12 feet and an underclearance of four feet in and along Cooks Run (WWF-MF) and impacting 0.02 acre of adjacent wetlands. The project will include: widening of Iron Hill Road; construction of a new bike path along the eastern side of the southbound travel lane; modifying approximately 130 linear feet of Cooks Creek and the installation of stormwater facilities associated with bridge and roadway construction (Doylestown Quadrangle N: 9.75 inches; W: 4.9 inches). The amount of wetland impact is considered a de minimis impact of 0.02 acre and wetland mitigation is not required.

To replace and maintain an existing bridge with either a two-span steel plate girder or prestressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge shifted upstream about 20 feet with a clear span of 120 feet and an underclearance of 11 feet. The work also includes the placement of riprap protection at the abutments and the use of a cofferdam during construction. The proposed bridge spans Unami Creek (HQ, TSF) and is located along S.R. 4027 (Allentown Road) Section 75S, located approximately 300 feet northwest of the intersection of Allentown Road and Mill Road (Milford Square, PA Quadrangle N: 9.70 inches; W: 3.05 inches).

The project includes the construction and maintenance of a 200-foot long, 10-foot wide, 6-foot deep open box culvert in the relocated channel and impacts to 2.34 acres of wetlands. The purpose of the project is to separate the stream flow from an acid mine discharge in order to improve the water quality in the relocated portion of the watercourse.
