[31 Pa.B. 5014] The Bureau of Family Health is accepting applications to apply for reimbursement to support a presentation or a training or workshop about building inclusive communities for children and adults special health care needs.
The reimbursement is designed to provide fiscal year 2001 funding (period ending June 30, 2002) for training healthcare and related service providers, family members, advocates, and the like. Reimbursement of up to $3,000 per year is available to cover Department of Health (Department) approved costs used to support professional speakers and related training materials for a conference-based session, training or workshop. For example, this training or workshop could cover topics like encouraging self-determination and individual choices, fostering diversity and cultural competence, promoting the right to privacy and control and creating a community that values all of its members, including children and adults with special health care needs. Reimbursement is based on meeting the application requirements, the availability of fiscal year 2001 funds (period ending June 30, 2002) and Department approval.
