Joint application of Philadelphia Suburban Water Company and Citizens Water Company of Wapwallopen for approval of: 1) the transfer, by sale, of the water system assets of Citizens Water Company of Wapwallopen to Philadelphia Suburban Water Company; 2) the right of Philadelphia Suburban Water Company to furnish water service to the public in a portion of Coyngham Township, Luzerne County, PA; and 3) the abandonment by Citizens Water Company of Wapwallopen of water service to the public in its current service territory.
This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before September 17, 2001, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
