Designations of Waters Subject to Special Fishing Regulations
[31 Pa.B. 6357] The Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) is designating the following waters as subject to 58 Pa. Code Chapter 65 (relating to special fishing regulations), effective January 1, 2002:
58 Pa. Code § 65.5. Catch-and release areas.
The following water is designated to be regulated and managed as a Catch-and-Release Area and is added to the list of waters subject to these regulations (58 Pa. Code § 65.5):
County Water on which located Description Carbon Hickory Run From Sand Spring Run upstream to Saylorsville Dam, a distance of 1.38 miles. The limits of Hickory Run that are currently regulated and managed under the Catch-and Release Program are now described as follows:
From the outlet of Saylorsville Dam downstream to the mouth, a distance of 2.88 miles.
58 Pa. Code § 65.8. Warmwater/coolwater species special conservation waters.
The following lake is removed from the list of waters regulated and managed as Warmwater/coolwater Species Special Conservation Waters:
County Water Westmoreland Bridgeport Dam 58 Pa. Code § 65.9. Big bass special regulations.
The following waters are designated to be regulated and managed under the Big Bass Special Regulations and are added to the list of waters subject to these regulations (58 Pa. Code § 65.9):
County Water Berks Carsonia Lake Bucks Towhee Lake Juniata/Perry Juniata River from the Route 11/15 Bridge near Amity Hall upstream to Newport S.R. 0034 Bridge (Big Bass Regulations now apply on the Juniata River from its mouth upstream to the S.R. 0075 Bridge at Port Royal) Westmoreland Bridgeport Dam 58 Pa. Code § 65.10. Select trout stocked lake program.
The following lakes are removed from the list of waters regulated and managed under the Select Trout Stocked Lake Program:
