Request for Bids

   The Department of General Services is seeking bids for new motorcycle batteries and miscellaneous automobile filters obtained by the Department of Transportation through a highway expansion project. These items are located at Department of Transportation in Bedford, PA. There are 54 shrink-wrapped skids to be sold (2 skids of filters). Permits for transporting batteries are required and copies of the permits must be submitted with bids. Contact Ed Robinson at (814) 696-7207 for more information and to schedule an appointment to inspect the batteries and automobile filters. The bid opening date is July 12, 2002. Bids should be sent to Department of General Services, State Surplus Property Division, P. O. Box 1365, 2221 Forster St., Harrisburg, PA 17105.
