Wastewater from this station will be conveyed through a proposed force main to the Authority's Main Wastewater Treatment Facility for ultimate treatment and discharge.
The Plan Update Revision's selected wastewater disposal alternative also calls for the following: separation of 37,000 LF of combined wastewater collection system lines; verification of 17,000 LF of previously separated combined wastewater collection system lines; replacement of 24 existing combined sewer overflow (CSO) structures with new control structures and systems; construction of two new, additional CSO structures and associated control systems; and the extension of existing wastewater collection system lines to properties currently using on-lot wastewater disposal systems in the Hillside Road and Cottage Hill East areas of the City of Pottsville. Implementation of the selected wastewater disposal alternative and operation of the existing and proposed facilities will be performed by the Authority with the cooperation of the municipalities previously specified in this correspondence.
Financing of the proposed wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment systems is to be provided by the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PennVEST). The projects are to be funded over two PennVEST funding application cycles.
Implementation of the selected wastewater disposal alternative will require an NPDES Permit for the proposed effluent discharge. This permit application must be submitted in the name of the Authority. The proposed project will also require a Water Management Part II Permit for the construction and operation of the proposed sewage facilities. This permit application must also be submitted in the name of the Authority. The Department's review has also not identified any significant environmental impacts resulting from this proposal.

Indiana Plan Description: The approved plan provides for sewerage collection and wastewater treatment facilities within the Borough of Glen Campbell. A 30,000 gpd sewage treatment plant is to be constructed on the north side of S.R. 0286 along Brady Run at the intersection of S.R. 0286 and S.R. 0336. Discharge from the plant will be into Brady Run, latitude 40°81`67" and longitude 78°82`11", approximately. The selection of a collection system was wastewater treatment and discharge was the only feasible alternative, due to poor soil conditions for disposal systems in the Borough of Glen Campbell. Total project cost is estimated at approximately $1.2 million. The Department's review of the sewage facilities update revision has not identified any significant environmental impacts resulting from this proposal. Any required NPDES Permits or WQM Permits must be obtained in the name of the municipality or authority as appropriate.

Provisions of Chapter 3 of the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (Act) require the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) to publish in the Pennsylvania Bulletin a notice of submission of final reports. A final report is submitted to document cleanup of a release of a regulated substance at a site where one of the Act's remediation standards. A final report provides a description of the site investigation to characterize the nature and extent of contaminants in environmental media, the basis for selecting the environmental media of concern, documentation supporting the selection of residential or nonresidential exposure factors, a description of the remediation performed and summaries of sampling analytical results which demonstrate that remediation has attained the cleanup standard selected.

A remedial investigation report includes conclusions from the site investigation, concentration of regulated substances in environmental media; benefits of refuse of the property and, in some circumstances, a fate and transport analysis. If required, a risk assessment report describes potential adverse effects caused by the presence of regulated substances. A cleanup plan evaluates the abilities of potential remedies to achieve remedy requirements. A final report provides a description of the site investigation to characterize the nature and extent of contaminants in environmental media, the basis of selecting the environmental media of concern, documentation supporting the selection of residential or nonresidential exposure factors, a description of the remediation performed and summaries of sampling methodology and analytical results which demonstrate that the remediation has attained the cleanup standard selected. The Department may approve or disapprove plans and reports submitted. This notice provides the Department's decision and, if relevant, the basis for disapproval.

S. § 7514) and 2 Pa.C.S. §§ 501--508 and 701--704 (relating to the Administrative Agency Law), to the Environmental Hearing Board, Second Floor, Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market Street, P. Appeals must be filed with the within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin, unless the appropriate statute provides a different time period.
