The de minimis increase is the result of the replacement of gear boxes with lower ratios to allow the no. 20 Carlite line (Source 161) to increase line speed from 290 to 330 feet per minute, resulting in a potential 14% increase in line capacity (approximately 11,000 ship tons). This facility states that this modification will not affect upstream sources at the facility and there are no downstream sources. The only increases in air emissions are from the combustion of natural gas from the no. 20 Carlite Line Drying Furnace. This is a list of the de minimis increases as required by 25 Pa.
