Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 Instant Lottery Game
[35 Pa.B. 1723] Under the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101--3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:
1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05.
2. Price: The price of a Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 instant lottery game ticket is $5.
3. Play Symbols:
(a) Each Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 instant lottery game ticket will contain four play areas known as Game 1, Game 2, Game 3 and Fast Cash Bonus. Each game is played separately.
(b) The prize play symbols and their captions located in the play area for Game 1 are: $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $15$ (FIFTN), $25$ (TWY FIV), $50$ (FIFTY), $100 (ONE HUN), $500 (FIV HUN) and $50,000 (FTY THO).
(c) The play symbols and their captions located in the play area for Game 2 are: X Symbol (XXX) and Heart Symbol (HEART).
(d) The play symbols and their captions located in the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' and ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' areas for Game 3 are: Money Symbol (MONEY), House Symbol (HOUSE), Necklace Symbol (NCKLACE), Ring Symbol (RING), Candy Symbol (CANDY), Emerald Symbol (EMERALD), Diamond Symbol (DIAMOND), Gift Symbol (GIFT), Mink Coat Symbol (MINK), Car Symbol (CAR), Balloon Symbol (BALLOON) and Rose Symbol (ROSE).
(e) The prize play and play symbols and their captions located in the ''BONUS'' area for ''Fast Cash Bonus'' are: $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $15$ (FIFTN), $25$ (TWY FIV), $50$ (FIFTY), $100 (ONE HUN) and NO BONUS (TRY AGAIN).
4. Prize Symbols: The prize symbols and their captions located in the prize area for Game 2 and Game 3 are: $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $15$ (FIFTN), $25$ (TWY FIV), $50$ (FIFTY), $100 (ONE HUN), $500 (FIV HUN) and $50,000 (FTY THO).
5. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3 are: $5, $10, $15, $25, $50, $100, $500 and $50,000. The prizes that can be won in Fast Cash Bonus are: $5, $10, $15, $25, $50 and $100. A player can win up to 6 times on a ticket.
6. Approximate Number of Tickets Printed For the Game: Approximately 2,520,000 tickets will be printed for the Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 instant lottery game.
7. Determination of Prize Winners:
(a) Determination of prize winners for Game 1 are:
(1) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $50,000 (FTY THO) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50,000.
(2) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $500 (FIV HUN) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.
(3) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $100 (ONE HUN) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.
(4) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $50$ (FIFTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.
(5) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $25$ (TWY FIV) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $25.
(6) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $15$ (FIFTN) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.
(7) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(8) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
(b) Determination of prize winners for Game 2 are:
(1) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $50,000 (FTY THO) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50,000.
(2) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $500 (FIV HUN) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.
(3) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.
(4) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $50$ (FIFTY) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.
(5) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $25$ (TWY FIV) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $25.
(6) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $15$ (FIFTN) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.
(7) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(8) Holders of tickets with three matching Heart (HEART) play symbols in the same row, column or diagonal and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appearing in the ''PRIZE'' area for the Game, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
(c) Determination of prize winners for Game 3 are:
(1) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $50,000 (FTY THO) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50,000.
(2) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $500 (FIV HUN) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.
(3) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.
(4) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $50$ (FIFTY) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.
(5) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $25$ (TWY FIV) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $25.
(6) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $15$ (FIFTN) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.
(7) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOLS'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOL'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(8) Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbols matches the ''LUCKY SYMBOL'' play symbol and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears under the matching ''YOUR SYMBOLS'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
(d) Determination of prize winners for Fast Cash Bonus are:
(1) Holders of tickets with a $100 (ONE HUN) play symbol in the ''BONUS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.
(2) Holders of tickets with a $50$ (FIFTY) play symbol in the ''BONUS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.
(3) Holders of tickets with a $25$ (TWY FIV) play symbol in the ''BONUS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $25.
(4) Holders of tickets with a $15$ (FIFTN) play symbol in the ''BONUS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.
(5) Holders of tickets with a $10.00 (TEN DOL) play symbol in the ''BONUS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(6) Holders of tickets with a $5.00 (FIV DOL) play symbol in the ''BONUS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
8. Number and Description of Prizes and Approximate Odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amount of prizes and approximate odds of winning:

Fast Cash Bonus--Reveal prize amount between $5 and $100 and win that prize.
Prizes, including the top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.
9. Retailer Incentive Awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Game for retailers who sell Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 instant lottery game tickets. The conduct of the game will be governed by 61 Pa. Code § 819.222 (relating to retailer bonuses and incentives).
10. Unclaimed Prize Money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05, prize money from winning Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.
11. Governing Law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101--3761-314), 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.
12. Termination of the Game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Pennsylvania Mother's Day Gift '05 or through normal communications methods.
