Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

[Saturday, June 9, 2007]The Department of Transportation (Department), under section 2003(e)(7) of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. § 513(e)(7)), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following property is available for sale by the Department:
Parcel No. 61 on SR 0119-496, Burrell Township, Indiana County. It was formally listed as Tax Parcel 10-029-117. This parcel contains approximately 40,463 square feet of land situated near the north side of Cribbs Street at the intersecion of Highway 119 South. The property will be sold in ''as is condition.'' The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $19,500. It has been determined that the land is no longer needed for present or future transportation purposes.
Interest public entities are invited to express their interest in purchasing the site within 30-calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to Larry Williams, Chief Negotiator, Department of Transportation, Engineering District 10-0, P. O. Box 429, Indiana, PA 15701.
