Distinguished Educator Compensation

   Under section 1195(j) of The Public School Code of 1949 (24 P. S. § 11-1195), the Department of Education will compensate individuals serving as Distinguished Educators during the 2007-08 school year consistent with the following formula:

   [$400.00 × service days] + approved expenses =
   Distinguished Educator compensation
